The thing that annoys me most is when some atheists talk down to people that believe in a God and call them close minded and are holding us back as a society. also i love it when they try to flat out lie and use the weak argument that more people have been killed because of religion then have been saved. first of all their first argument is completely hypocritical because they automatically dismiss creationism and 100% back scientists and isnt and “open mind” mean to be open to others theories on how this world came about? they are all theories every single one of them. scientists are trying to learn how this world came about and some people choose to believe them cuz that is the easy way out. they see a world with no consequence for their actions.. why do you want to believe in something that isnt in your current best interest right? why believe that you are in the wrong? they close their minds to any idea of a God yet they say religious people are close minded haha thats funny. also teh whole “religion causes wars”. ok lets look back at the recent wars shall we? this latest “war on terrorism” it may look like its a religiously charged war cuz of the Muslims. but if you really look at it its basically U.S wants the oil and these people dont want them taking it so they use religion as a reason to get people on their side to fight against the U.S who is unjustly going somewhere they dont belong. if these countries did not have oil they wouldn’t give a rats ass about these people. but people see that we are fighting against Muslim people and automatically assume that its caused by religion yet if their wasn’t any religion there would still be fighting and killing over the oil in that land.. then lets look at the Korean/Vietnam wars. were they caused over religion? lets see the world wars were they caused by religion?  the answer is no. the cause of wars always has and always will be over power and greed. choose to believe what you will but dont belittle creationism like you do because remember if i would’ve told you 10 years ago that there is only 8 planets in our solar system you would’ve been mocking me and belittling me like you do the creationists and who would’ve gotten the last laugh?
